A stunning 1962 Gibson SG Special in Polaris white. According to the Gibson pricelist catalog from 1962, the color is simply referred to “White” and not “Polaris White”, but in common speech today the color is called “Polaris White”  This guitar is a true gem, boasting its originality and remarkable condition considering its age. The Polaris white finish remains clean, with some a light cobweb on the finish aging that add to its vintage character. There is some normal play wear but there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs, all electronics and parts are completely original, maintaining the guitar's authenticity. It features the original factory maestro vibrola. The 6x original Kluson tuners are all intact and works perfectly. The 2x P-90 pickups are well-balanced and healthy they sound out of this world: SUPER! The pots date 1962. The neck is straight and have minor play-wear but overall pretty clean. Original frets and nut that are in good shape with plenty of life left. The weight is 3.5 kg, comfortable neck shape for a '62 model, not too thin, just nice to play. It comes with its original Gibson black and yellow hard case, completing this exceptional package. One piece mahogany body in Polaris White. Mahogany bounded neck with Brazilian rosewood fretboard.
