This gorgeous romantic guitar is an well-preserved antique
instrument, in great condition, with low action, great playability and sound.
The guitar is a great specimen of a German pre-war parlor guitar with a hand
carved rosette (typical for guitar lutes of the period, but rarely found on
guitars) and was hand crafted approx. 90-100 years ago, most likely in the
Schönbach workshops of Josef Siebenhüner in the 1930s. It was clearly made as a
higher-end instrument, recently restored and completely checked, cleaned and it
is ready to be played and enjoyed as it should.
This instrument has an all-solid-wood ladder braced construction. The sound of
this guitar is rich with a little bit of natural compression, articulate lows
