The 1966 Fender Super Reverb Blackface 45-watt tube combo guitar amplifier was offered in a blackface finish between 1963 and 1967. Famous for its bright, mid-range tone, the Super Reverb has the same design as the Fender Super, but with the addition of reverb and tremolo effects and four 10" speakers. The Super Reverb is commonly used by blues guitarists for its punchy sound and warm tube distortion, it is also famous for its clear, bright mid-range tones, emphasizes sparkling highs and full, round low frequencies. Used by guitarist greats such as Johnny Marr, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, Derek Trucks, Ronnie Earl, Anson Funderburgh, Alex Lifeson and many others.
